I haven't used this blog in many many years.... and although I worked for about 2 years as a pregnancy and childbirth doula, I have not worked as such for 5 years now. However, in the light of our current situation, I wanted to offer my services - free - as an online & phone/video support through these difficult times. I'll be looking to update myself on new evidence around supporting birth that may have surfaced in the last few years, and I will especially be in touch with midwives in Aotearoa New Zealand to have first hand knowledge of what the policies around prenatal care, birth and postnatal care in Alert Level 4 conditions.
